Interests:
I'm a die hard Steeler fan always have been, always will be! I LOVE DANCING, exercising, staying active, I enjoy traveling, singing, reading good books such as: autobiographies, documentaries, and history. I also enjoy painting with acrylics, listening to music of all types on my ipod, fashion, interior design, skiing, horseback riding, symphonies, operas, ballets, cooking and baking gourmet and international cuisine, and meeting good and interesting people.
About Me:
I'm part Filipino, Spaniard, French, and Chinese. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and now live in Texas. Born in Manila, Philippines to an upper middle class family. My father emigrated our family to Pittsburgh, PA where he did his dental residency at the University of Pittsburgh. He was a DDS and a DMD of Dentistry and an accomplished Dentist during my childhood. My father died suddenly from Asthma complications, specifically Triple A or an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm while visiting his relatives abroad in the Philippines during Christmas 2003. The loss of my father is still very difficult and sad for me and for the rest of our entire family. I miss him immensely and wish I could've told him so many things I wanted to say before he went to be with the Lord. Life is too short to take any second of it for granted. I attribute all of my achievements in our strong faith in Jesus Christ our Saviour who not once ever failed us when people around us have. I am a Polyglot as well. I speak five foreign languages fluently; Deutsch, Italiano, Tagalog, Francais, and Español. I love to travel and I have visited many beautiful places and tourist attractions all over Europe. I really love anything outdoors such as, skiing, hiking, camping, rock climbing, and white water rafting. I have always been active, but due to the development of this disease, it has slowed me down a bit, which has made coping with it quite difficult at times for me. However, I won't allow it to slow me down. I am proactive in my recovery and healing. Praying to Almighty God is extremely important and pertinent in fighting this disease. I like staying active, exercising, eating healthy, taking a holistic and natural approach toward prevention and healing. I also have been told that I have great style and taste in fashion, interior decorating and music. I love to read, bake and cook gourmet cuisine. I also used to enjoy drinking wine, but I stay away from all alchoholic beverages ever since I was diagnosed with Hep C and I so miss having a glass of fine Bordeaux or Cabernet. I enjoy singing and being creative. Painting with acrylics, pastels, and watercolors is very therapeutic. I took various art classes at Carnegie Mellon University in my teens. I love many types of music from House, Techno, Smooth Jazz, Classical...(My favorite Composers are Chopin, Mozart, Bach and Beethoven), Soft Rock, and Christian Contemporary. I grew up dancing to "Look Around" and "So Many Stars" by Sergio Mendes and ensembles by Burt Bacharach and Dione Warwick like "What do you get when you fall in love" and "The Look of Love". I also enjoy going to the symphony, opera, a ballet and to the beach. I continue to maintain a positive outlook and remain steadfast through lots of prayer and helping others. I trust in the Lord to help me through my life day by day. He is my rock and my strength, in HIM will I trust.

Thank you Michelle. I'm home in the US. I got here last night. I'm not doing much today. I've been dragging a nasty cold and soar throat for a while and need to get over them fast. It was tough to leave my family behind... I hope I'm doing the right thing. Thank you for your support. Prayers are welcome :) and needed these days. I don't pray much right now. Not sure why. I'm a bit numb to it all. I hope you are doing well. Hugs, E.

 Hepatitis C
I contracted this dreadful virus from a blood transfusion I received after giving birth to my son overseas at Landstuhl Army hospital right outside Ramstein AFB, Germany in Feb. 1990, but it layed dormant for 13 years until Feb. 2003. I was an ex-officer's wife in the US Air Force. After giving birth to my son, I developed a hematoma(a blood clot) in the vaginal area soon after he was born. I was reeled into the O.R. to drain it. I lost a lot of blood. Hence, I was given a blood transfusion.

 College Stress
I'm back in school again this year, after persevering through 2002 to 2004. I had to take a break from school then due to my health issue. I am back in a strong way and determined to finish this race. I am doing the 150 program and pursuing a Bachelor's in PR and Master's in International PR. I will graduate by Dec. 2008. I am so excited!

 Breakups & Divorce
I was married for nine years when I saw the first sign and proof of him cheating. I overlooked it and suggested we go for marital counseling with our church's head pastor. That didn't work because he cheated again and that was it. It was over for me. We divorced shy of 12 years of marriage with two beautiful and intelligent kids. I had primary custody initially, but after my daughter was diagnosed with early signs of thyroid cancer that all changed.

Support from Friends & Family (Working / Worked)
Even though my nearest family or relative was 1,000 + miles away, I called them and vice versa. The moments during and after the divorce were the toughest. My family and friends were there for me.
