About Me
I am a thirty-four year old mother of five. I stay home with my three smallest children, who are 10, 5, and 4. I was diagnosted bipolar three years ago, just after being in a severe car crash that nearly killed me. I have been a Christian for 16 years and believe strongly in the power of prayer. I am looking for methods for treatment beyond medication, and just to have someone to talk to that really understands.

Close Bipolar Disorder
I found out I was bipolar two years ago. Shortly after I had a nervous break down. Since then I have struggled with finding the right medication and keeping the depression under control. Everyday is a struggle, but I know with God's help he will see me through.
Treatments
- Abilify Not Working
- Made me feel like I was going to explode.
- Depakote Not Working
- My hair fell out.
- Geodon Somewhat Helpful
- This medication makes me extremely tired.
- Lamictal Not Working
- Didn't work at all. I've tired it twice.
- Prayer Working / Worked
- This is the most effective treatment I have.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- Is working very well so far.
- Lithium Working / Worked
- Seems to help with the depression.
- Fish Oil Working / Worked
- Seems to be lifting my mood.
- B-Complex Vitamins Working / Worked
- More energy.
Close ADHD / ADD
My son is 10 and has ADHD. He is very intellegent and we love him very much. He is big hearted and sweet. He has abudant energy and loves video games.
Treatments
- Concerta Somewhat Helpful
- As he gets older the medicine is no working as well, but the last time we tried increasing the dose he had very bad side effects.
