Journal Entry for January 17, 2008 Mood
Thursday, January 17, 2008

Wow I hate to be such a whiner. Just seem to be in a bad string of crap lately. I got an email from my Aunt that my grandpa is not doing well. My grandparents live way up north in Honor Michigan alone. They refuse to leave their house on the lake. It is wonderful up there. But they are getting way up in age and the health problems are mounting. I have traveled up there (5 hour drive) a few times in the winter to take care of them when grandpa had heart surgery and grandma was going threw congestive heart failure. I am the only one close enough. My parents head to Arizona for the winter, my Aunt lives in Florida, my Uncle who knows this month and my other Uncle the baby of the family is useless as tits on a bull (my mom's favorite saying and fits). I guess grandpa is yellow and not sure what is going on. What ever it is they won't do surgery because of his age and health issues. Will pray it is something simple.

Other then that not much else. Tomorrow I get to up my dose of Zoloft, think I need it...ha. It does seem to be taking some of the edge off all the crap going on. I am pmsing and not killing anyone either which is good. I do feel relatively calm, I say relatively Wink.

Hugs and love to everyone, Mary

Mary you are always so sweet and caring of others. I know you are a blessing to your Grandparents. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know when Ashlee's surgery will be. Love you.

Hang tough my friend. Persevering through challenges makes us a better person. May feel like crap going through it, but in the long run it pays off. My prayers for you, Ashlee and your grandparents. First of four day shifts. God bless, James

You are a kind and caring person, Mary. You do not have to take all of the care of your grandparents. You have a Mom and Dad and there are other siblings that should help your grandparents. Uping your Zoloft will probably really help you. I am on Zoloft and they uped mine and I can really tell a difference. Remembering Ashlee, you, and your grandparents in my prayers. Grace to you.
