I have an Ashlee update and need some extra prayers. The family met with the surgeon a few days ago. I guess the cancer is as small as it will get so they are going to wait till she is stronger after her latest round of chemo (she got pretty sick). They will go in and it will be an all day operation to remove the cancer in her shoulder. They want a good half inch clearing around it. The tricky part is getting it out without damage to the nerves to her arm. There is a 50/50 chance my 12 year old niece could lose her arm. We won't know anything till they go in. Then they will do radiation. And because they will be near her breasts there is a good chance later down the road she will develop breast cancer. Gezzz, if everything else isn't enough for the poor young thing.
Computer is running so slow tonight. I hope to finish catching up with everyone tomorrow. Love and hugs, Mary
