My name is Amy, and I am 44 years old, and I have Crohn's Disease. I am happily married with three stepsons, and I have six beautiful grandchildren. I am a Purchasing Manager for the company I work for, and I really love my job. I was in the hospital three times in 2005 for five days at a time, and I was finally diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Before 2005 thinking back, I was having little flair ups off and on and didn't realize what was going on with my body. I want to be the one in control...not the Crohn's!

I have a busy week or so ahead. I am in hospital on Thurdsay for my infliximab, then at my new consultant urologist about my bladder on Friday. Then the following Tue am at my G.I. clinic. It's never ending and it does get me down at times, I just have to try and remain strong.Hang on in there and have a great week.

I have chronic Crohn's Disease. I was diagnosed in 2005. I am currently on Humira Shots once a week, taking Prednisone, Hyomax, and I am on Cymbalta for depression/anxiety. I want to be in remission!!!
Actually, My husband is the one who had the transplant. He isn't very computer oriented, so I thought I would join for him. He had Polycystic Kidney Disease, and he had a Kidney Transplant on December 20th, 2006. Our niece, Amanda, donated her kidney to him...our Angel. He is doing pretty good, and he actually went back to work two months after his transplant.
My husband has type 2 diabetes as a side effect of the anti-rejections he takes for his kidney transplant from Dec/2006.
