Support Groups
Close Diverticulitis
Dec. 10, 2006 I had a sigmoid colectomy. On Oct. 10, 2008 I am having an ascending colon colectomy.
Treatments
- High Fiber Diet Not Working
- My life has been high-fiber with at least 32 grams a day. This doesn't make sense!
- Levaquin Working / Worked
- NO!
Close Gallstones
Just had an emergency ascending colon colectomy and a surprise cholecystectomy. Two years ago I had a sigmoid colectomy.
Treatments
- Cholecystectomy Working / Worked
- I just had a cholecysectomy on Wednesday along with an ascending colon colectomy. The interesting part of this is I've been told my gallbladder had no problems even after multiple testing. The pathology report showed very small gall stones which is probably why the off/on pain. But on the other hand I had ascending colon pain.
Open The 2008 Financial Crisis
Married-6 kids-both homegrown and special needs adopted. Retirement ( hahahaha!) in 10 years.
