Hi Lori, I have been having my own issues, as you know but it's not too late to give you a hug and tell you everything is going to be alright. Far be it for me to say that but We Will succeed. You keep your chin up and you ARE in my prayers. Shari
You worded your prayer request very eloquently, and that is what I will pray for you today :)
I hated to be a downer, i try to be sort of up, but I knew you guys would understand. For Gosh's sake, of all the times to find a LLMD...
Hi Lori. I've thought of your post a few times, about wanting to be able to do more with your kids. How old are they? I had read an article on a fibromyalgia flyer about how to spend time with kids, when energy and pain are a problem. I'll see if I can dig it up, but the idea was not to try to force yourself to do anything you're not up to (or that you'd have to pay for later), but to find quiet activities that let you "be" together in a special way. One thing that occurred to me is to let them make a meal for you. I see from the pictures that they're little, but could they make you a PBJ sandwich? I bet they'd be thrilled to bring it to you with a glass of milk, and cuddle beside you on the couch. Maybe you're not eating bread or jelly these days, but there may be somethign they could put together that'd be simple for them, and a break for you (not having to worry about that meal). I don't know if this'll help at all, but like I said, I was thinking of you and your post. Take care, Jenn
