About Me
I'm 25 years old, live in Jersey City, NJ and work in New York City. My husband and I have been together for almost 9 years and our 2nd wedding anniversary is coming up shortly. We have been trying to concieve for a year and a half with no luck so far and have been seeking fertility treatments. I joined this site to be able to talk to others who have been facing this hardship for support. It has been a difficult time and I feel that the people who are going through the same situation can really help make this journey easier to get through! I have tried at first to talk to friends, but that has made me feel worse because a lot of the people I know have had unwanted pregnancies and think that having a child is the end of their lives. I do not want that kind of negative force in my life with what I'm going through. I am hoping to gain support and friends from this website! :-)
Interests
I love the color pink, which is why my nickname is Pinky! I love animals so much, cute furry critters can always put a smile on my face when I'm in a bad mood. I especially like Pomeranian dogs, Persian cats, Teddy Bear hamsters and baby Harp seals. I love doing arts and crafts, reading, and watching movies, and travelling to new places.

Treatments
- Clomid Somewhat Helpful
- I have been on this for only one cycle and did not ovulate which made me extremely depressed because my doctor was saying how I'd get pregnant right away. I was moody when I was on this and saw some weird halos of light which were side effects stated on my prescription.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- I started taking Folic Acid before my husband and I starting concieving and very hopeful that it will help the baby to be healthy when we finally concieve.
- Metformin Not Working
- This is supposed to help regulate my insulin levels and tolerance. My doctor prescribed this because it was supposed to make my periods regular. I was on this for TWO months and then I got my period. I have to take 3 pills a day and they make me so sick. Very bad diarrhea stomach pains vomiting and it has also made me turn away from a lot of food because I get too nauseous. So I'm going through a lot of discomfort and I feel like its not even helping me get regular periods.
