    Im 37 and live in the UK. Im married, have two beautiful children and a wonderful friend called Bronte' (my beloved dog). I have a supportive family, and wonderful sisters who are my best friends. I dont get out much, but try to be positive. I suffer from Disc problems and nerve damage, but am so glad I found this site coz now I feel Im not alone in this.

    Interests

    reading (lots - I love books), Music (all Kinds from rock to classical my favourite is Kate bush and crowded house), spending time with my family, movies, and I love Beatrix Potter stuff as you can see!

        I have they same problem Have you tried a Nero surgeon? EVEN IF THEY DONT OPERATATE,THEY CAN GIVE YOU PROPER MEDS TO HELP.i HAD THE INJECTIONS THEY HELP BUT ARE ONLY TEMPARY.bUT THEY DID HELP ME OVER A ACUTE PHASE.sO GIVE THAT A TRY

        welcome, oh do i hear you!! the injections work, I had one and helped the pain for 10 years, I could not handel the whole 3 series of the actual injection. some people handel pain differently.hugs deb

        Hi, im from the uk and was diagnosed 4 years ago with ruptured discs (L4/5) I have never felt pain like that before and ive had two kids!!. I refused surgery (fusion) because of too many horror stories. GP has now said that I have disc Degeneration. The pain is not as excrutiating but its bad enough! Im only 37 and am on disability allowance which depresses the hell out of me!!! I used to be so active. Just wanted to know im not the only one!
