About Me
Female 35 yrs old just diagnoised 2/14/08. Married my soulmate 15yrs ago & have 2 wonderful children (boy 19 & girl 14) Currently working FT at home however in the process of moving to different dept to work PT at home due to all my appts and therapy. Very supportive family due to PD is not new in my family, my grandmothr also has PD. Trying to stay positive however nice to talk to others who go through the same challenges I do.

Hug
I know how you feel but you have to keep a positive attitude. Communication helps and I would be happy discuss your issues. I tried Mirapex but could not stay awake. Also, Hatrick33 and I had lunch yesterday and we talked about Parkinson's for 2 hours. Feel better and have a great day.

Close Parkinson's Disease
I am currently on several medication Mirapex 1.5mg, Amitrityline 100mg , Lyrica 150mg 2x daily, Clonazepam .05 this is just for my PD also take Advir 2x due to my chronic asthma and take Nexium for chronic acid reflex
Treatments
- Mirapex Somewhat Helpful
- just dx 2/2008 and have had my medication increased 6x taking 1.5mg 3x a day
- Speech Therapy Working / Worked
- Too early to tell
- Massage Working / Worked
- Seems to be helping with the chronic pain and ridgity
