I am married, have three sons, 20, 19, and 17. I have Spastic Cerebral Palsy, Bipolar Spectrum (some symptoms-not all). I have had a Cervical Fusion in my neck, have migraines, and financial challenges. I have worked as an X-Ray Technologist, Special Education Aide, and Teachers Aide. I have a little dog named Cookie, and also take care of my son's dog, which is a Brindle Boxer. Training these two to get along, is quite a challenge. One weighs between 60 and 70 lbs and is still growing b/c he is still a puppy and the other is just over 7 lbs. I had to stop working in March of 2006 b/c of my Cerebral Palsy and its affect on my mobility and level of endurance. These changes in my body have caused a lot of unhappiness and frustration which I still struggle with on a daily basis. I miss not being able to work outside my home and being with others. The only thing that I do not miss is the physical, mental and emotional stress I experienced while working. Each day is a new day and i usually always try to have hope.
I like animals, mainly dogs and I enjoy horses, yet riding one is to much of a challenge for me anymore. I enjoy watching birds, and nature-flowers. I am a Christian and I like to listen to Christian music. One of my favorite artists is Michael W. Smith. I never grow tired of listening-singing along with him!!! I also like to dress my dog and enjoy looking at dog clothes, jewelry, treats and accessories for her. I hope to be able to have a website and sell pet items someday. I love my little sweetheart very much and I am thankful for all of the love and comfort she gives me, and I am also thankful to God for creating her. Each day I always try to remember how truly blessed I am, no matter how difficult the day has been.

Hope you are feeling better. Have a nice 4th of July...Take care.
I have Severe Spastic Cerebral Palsy, was born premature, lived without any intervention until 2001. That's when I received my diagnosis. I received an ITB Pump in July of 2004. It has helped with spasticity issues, yet mobility and endurance levels have declined. CP also affects my bladder! No fun!
I HAVE HAD AN ANTERIOR CERVICAL DYSECTOMY W/FUSION AND PLATING- LEVELS-C4-C5, C5-C6, AND C6-C7.
