Hey there, just stopping by to say hello and welcome you to DS! My life has been affected by cancer as well, I am huge advocate for cancer research and awareness! I have four immediate family members who have or did have cancer. I hope you are doing well and I am here if you ever need anything! Take care, Stephan
I KNOW ITS HARD NOT TO THINK ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE CANCER AND IT IS REALY HARD IN THAT PART OF YOUR BODY. TIME IS YOUR BEST FRIEND. EVERY GOOD CHECK YOU WILL THINK ABOUT IT LESS. BUT DON'T PUT IT OUT OF YOUR MIND YOU HAVE TO ALWAYS REMMBER TO CHECK AND RECHECK YOURSLEF. CANCER IS A FIGHT AND YOU HAVE TO WIN. BOB
I was diagnosed with testicular cancer january 2008. I had a orchectomy and went through 3 cycles of chemo therapy. after the chemo my count didnt go down to normal so my doctors suggested the rplnd surgery even though they had no evidence that my lymph nodes were impacted. I had that surgery at the end of may and it is now septeber. After the surgery was done we got the results back and there was no cancer in the 60 nodes that they took oout. It was bitter sweet news. and my scar hurts everday
