Close Sjogren's Syndrome
I'm Jackie,45 yrs old,married to Jeff for 13 years & have two great children,Tiffany 22 & Tyler 18 and 2 step children Jenavieve 22,Monica 19.I was diagnosed with sjorgren's 5 years ago after the tragic death of my son who was 21 & killed in an auto accident.It was a long process,I also was recovering from viral menengitis and many of the doctors thought that my issue was grief. Finally ended up at a rheumatologist who was aggressive, sjorgren's,RA Fibro was confirmed by testing and now lupus.

- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Helps me sleep and helps the pain in feet and legs

I'm Jackie, 45 years old(going on 100) married 13 years.. to a man who also has fibro, what a pair we make, I also have a daughter 22 (also with fibro) and a son 18, I was diagnosed 5 years ago with sjorgren's, fibro and RA, after finally conviencing the doctors something was wrong. They kept telling me it was grief from the death of my oldest son who was 21 at the time and killed in a car accident. Finally someone listened and its been a challenge every since.

- Aqua Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- It helped except the cramps in my legs interfered so bad I had to stop.
- Effexor Not Working
- Had a terrible allergic reaction
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Really helps the pain in my ankles and feet. I take it at night and it helps with my sleep
Open Lupus
I'm Jackie 45 years old, married to Jeff for 13 years, have two children, Tiffany 22 and Tyler 18. Five years ago I was diagnosed with sjorgrens, fibro,RA and recently Lupus. It has been a crazy adventure that started with the death of my oldest son, who at 21 was killed in a car accident. The adventure started with doctors telling me that it was grief and then finally a doc that listens and was aggressive and finally found out what was wrong and since things change from day to day......
Treatments
- Celebrex Working / Worked
- worked, but have heart problems so they don't want me on it.
- Cellcept Not Working
- quit taking it, too much meds couldn't tell what was making me sick
- Methotrexate Not Working
- Hated this, was so sick all the time because my immune system was dead, doc might start it again though.
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- helps with pain, no side affects
- Prednisone Not Working
- On it now and not working, and I hate the munchies!
