    About Me

I am currently a senior at Arizona State Univeristy in Tempe, Arizona. As a semester long capstone project, I am conducting research on infertility and emotional effects infertility has on the women who experience it. On a personal note, my mother experienced a long struggle with infertility and eventually resorted to adoption to get me! I am very happy and well adjusted, but as I have gotten older my mother has disclosed the pain of her own struggle to have a baby which has touched my heart.

    • Close Infertility

My mother battled infertility and ultimately resorted to adoption after trying all other options (and she got me!). I would call myself an extremely well adjusted and happy person. I am a senior at Arizona State Univerity and I am conducting a capstone research project on the emotional effect of infertility on women. I would love to hear your story and have you participate in my research! Message me if you are interested in being interviewed, telling me your story, or completeing a survey.

    • Close Adoption

As I detailed in my profile, I am a senior at Arizona State University, graduating this May. I am currently conducting research on the emotional effects of infertility as part of a senior capstone research project. I am interested in this issue because my own mother struggled with infertility and as a result ultimately resorted to adoption (and got me!). I appreciate any thoughts, stories, and interest in ebing a part of my research.

    • Open Diets & Weight Maintenance

Let's see. I'm 21. Graduating from college May 12th. I've been heavy most of my life, with the exception of a couple years in high school when I decided to join Weight Watchers and lost 60lbs, and then slowly regained them over the past 5 years. I am now heavier than I was before I started the program. With graduation around the corner I have really began to put my life into perspective and I have decided that I want to be healthy. My first target weight is 170 lbs.

      Treatments

Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
I really try to avoid refined sugars. I find that there is a direct correlation between how much sugar I eat and the weight I gain around my midsection.
Eating Healthier Foods Working / Worked
I was sucessful with Weight Watchers because I changed every aspect of my life from food to working out to evaluating why I eat. I want to get there again.
      Weight Watchers Working / Worked
Worked when I took it seriously. When I began to slide back into my old habits, the weight piled back on again. I guess in a way I thought I was cured.
