      I was diagnosed with Shingles one month ago. At the beginning, I thought I had pulled/strained a muscle in my back. After some initial OTC treatments, I was no better and went to the doc a few days later. By then I had the blisters. I have also developed a swollen muscle in my back and side - the doc said the virus has "settled" in the muscle. Has anyone else developed this type of symptom?

      Seems to have led to early healing of the blisters
