  thanks Bruce, just saw your hug. I am doing absolutely marvelous, I have been sober since February now, and although it was hard in the begining, I am finding it easier every day now. I was never a real heavy drinker, and only started abusing alcohol 4 years ago, and even then it was only when I was out, I would just drink too much. Then when I left my husband and relocated I started drinking during the week, then it got to be most days a week, I ended up in hospital twice, but the thing that finally did it for me was my eldest daughter who was pregnant with her first child at the time, she told me that if I carried on drinking, I would never be able to look after my Grandson, and that she would never trust me with him. Well that was enough to make me stop, to think that my own daughter could trust me...so there you go. The higher power in this case has been myself, it may sound very big headed, but I knew taht I was better than that stupid drunken 54 yr old, I knew that I was able to beat this thing, and I knew that I could prove to everyone without a doubt that I was able to again become the resposible, caring, sober woman I once was, and I have proved that, although I am not out of the woods yet, so I wont be bragging too loud, just one day at a time. HUggles to you.
