    About Me

I'm 37 years old. I work full time by day and am trying to finish my Bachelor's Degree by night. I have a very hectic schedule to say the least. I have had anger management, depression, and bipolar issues most of my life. I am currently separated, my wife has decided she can no longer take my excessive mood swings. I basically destroyed the lives of my wife and our 15 year old daughter. Our divorce will be final on September 9th. I've tried for several months to get the help I need to reconcile our relationship, but my soon-to-be ex-wife has already moved on and is seeing someone. My daughter hasn't spoken to me in months, and she wants nothing to do with me. Totally understandable at this point, but I am hoping that one day she comes around. I know I won't have that full father-daughter relationship ever again. I have sought help from several sources - Celebrate Recovery, a bipolar and depression support group, and I also have an extensive list of friends who have supported me and continually remind me that this divorce is not 100% my fault. I am thankful for all the help I have gotten up to this point, but I still feel I need more help. I know I'm not the only one in this position, so I am looking to talk to others who are in a similar situation.
