Hi, I am a single mother to a 10 year old boy who has asperger syndrome, and dyslexia. Has anyone else had a terrible time with school? Trying to move away from where we live for a fresh start. I am wondering if home education might be the best option again.
Interests
My interests are many and varied. I love walking by the beach, exploring our local area on my bike with my son, gardening, painting, music, communicating with my friends, good conversation, natural history, and learning new things.....

Thank you for the morning hug, here's a big one back, hug! I am doing okish, feeling drained already, late night working I guess and I need my coffee... I am sure I'll be fine after. Support Groups
Close Asperger Syndrome
We have no support group where we live, and we are feeling very isolated. Perhaps we will find our support online, until we can move and have a fresh start.
Close Homeschooling
At the moment my son is at school, although I have home schooled him twice already. It is a long story, but things haven't been great lately, and I think it may be necessary to withdraw my son from school again... The education dept. seem not to have learned much from the last two occasions. At the moment, I am unwell, and this is one of the reasons I sent my son back to school. They are meeting his needs better than before, except for one sticking point which may cause it to fall apart again
