This fatigue is really starting to tick me off. LOL. I fell asleep 3 times on the bus today, missed my stops, and ended up taking 3 hours to get home …

About Me
Professional student/walking DSM/Single mom of an awesome son who has Autism. Up till my episode of TEN in February, I was working part-time as an Administrative Assistant for a Non-profit; and going to school. I'm working towards a degree in Sociology - then Social Work. I live with SLE, DHRD, Epilepsy, Asthma, Endometriosis, a Heart Murmur, and Acid Reflux. In February of 2008 Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis almost took my life. I am very blessed to be here today.
Interests
Advocacy, Reading, Writing, Singing (only for the boy though), and working towards a state of wellness so I can return to school in January of 2009.

I was diagnosed with SLE in 2000. I've been on all the treatment medications, and am now left on Imuran (which is not working since April).
Treatments
- Azathioprine Somewhat Helpful
- I've been on this for almost 4 years without a problem till now.
- Medrol Working / Worked
- Imagine Tazmanian Devil x10000. Got my house mighty clean!
- Methotrexate Not Working
- It made me totally sick!
- Plaquenil Not Working
- Caused eye damage, and was taken off.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- When I'm in a Lupus rut, this definately gets me out of it.
- Reiki Working / Worked
- Since receiving a reiki treatment after my hospitalization it cleared up my vasculitis and it hasnt returned. Normally have vasculitis x3month
Close Epilepsy & Seizures
I was diagnosed with Juvennile Myoclonic Seizures/Absense Seizures this January. I was then put on Lamictal, and within 3 weeks, developed TEN from the drug.
