I’m With You
We had our meeting with the procecutor and all that. He says that it may come down to a trial and the girls may have to testify. That was the VERY last thing I wanted to hear! But he also said that if that happens the judge is going to be pissed that he put my little girls through a trial and that is gonna mean more time for him. So as much as I don't want it to come to that I have decided that it is in God's hands. As you said, God knows the outcome and what is best so if they have to testify then God wants it to be that way because he will probably get more time. From day one we put our situation in God's hands and this is where he lead us. Wasn't the place I wanted to be but now realize that this is so much better than what I thought was best for us. My faith in God is what has gotten me this far. The procecutor, victims right lady, detective and our therapist all have said that my husband and our girls are about 8 steps further than anyone else that has been through this and they are floored by us. I will be the first to say it is because of our putting 100% faith in God. I feel so bad for those who can not see it that way and those who do not believe or do but do not trust.

Sorry about your situation. I too am going through a court process with my son. We are bless to have much support from both the Christian school, and our church. Don't know what I would have done without them. It's heartbreaking when we learn that our children have been betrayed by people that they should be able to trust. Hope you're ok. Take care, Kath

How are you doing with everything? We just talked to the procecuter for the girls case. Looks like we may have to testify in court. My father in law continues to tell everyone he doesn't want it to go to jury trial and he wants to spare the girls further sorrow but I think his lawyer is pushing... says it's his JOB to get him the least amount of time possible. I have no choice but to leave it in God's hands:o) Just have to keep reminding myself of that!

Close Sexual Abuse
My youngest daughter informed me and my husband that my brother molested her and that he had been molesting her for a while. She disclosed this to us on Mothers day. Later found out that he had been doing the same thing to my oldest daughter. So needless to say, our life was turned upside down. I have dealt with this in such a silent way and I am hoping that coming here will provide some sort of an outlet as well as answer some questions.

- Our church family and pastor have helped us to see that there is hope and that with time...God will help us to fully heal and then forgive.
- Writing Working / Worked
- Writing is such a safe way to say everything you wouldnt want to say because it would do much more harm then good. It is like sucking the poison out of a snake bite.
