On April 17th2008, my Mom was helping me with my kids after I had some minor surgery. She woke me up and told me that she thought my cat Merlin was dead. I went downstairs to find my beloved little Merlin lifeless on my living room floor. I checked him and put my ear to his chest, but it was obvious that he was gone. He was perfectly fine the night before and he was never sick a day in his life. He was only 9.
