Yes - tho' it's not a common one -I have literally dozens of them. About 10 years ago, a new process for making it commercially was developed in Melbourne (Aust.). They actually brew it up with yeast. Since I'm extremely allergic to yeasts & molds, I have to be really careful to avoid citric acid now. The stuff gets put into so many things - even baked beans now have it: would you know what sort of beans are used in the standard Heinz ones? - I'll have to make that food now. Best wishes, JaneD.

I am allergic to citric acid (not just citrus).. I even have it on a med-alert bracelet. It causes my vertigo. I havent met anyone allergic to citric acid.. most people confuse it with a cirtus allergy (which is just a part of it)

Type: Mitral Valve ProlapseStarting passing out in 2001 diagnosed with neurocardiogenic syncope. felt so sick all the time starting in 2002 really enhanced postpartum 2004 and came to a head in postpartum 2005 was diagnosed with mvp/mvps.
