I just wanted to thank you for the post about headaches on the Chairi board. You are so right about the pain and how it gets better. Even though I haven't had the surgery, I am finding ways to pull through and let my inner strength shine. Anyway, thanks for that comment! :)

I was diagnosed with ACM five years ago. I was having horrible throbbing headaches. After the first surgery, it took me eight months to just walk, think and have a normal conversation. Five months after that, I was back in a wheel chair. I lost my ability to keep my balance. The second surgery kept my at UCLA for 3 weeks, but only took me two months to stop being really sick. I've only been off all my meds for about 9 months, but my head is so much clearer. I have good days and bad.

Going to UCLA for the second surgery was the right decision. They are very good. I found that I am better wo all the pain meds and muscle relaxers. A daily headache beats being out of it all the time.
