it was lovely laying around all day reading even though i did feel fluish. but i had a strange thought go through my head...that i was kinda glad i had this cause now i can lay around and do nothing and i have an excuse. usually, i'd be thinking "i gotta get those sculptures done...do this do that....errands....friends." how creepy is it to be thankful you have hep C so you can lay around. am i crzy? unhealthy thinking? need to go to meetings? i've got to get these thoughts outta my head. they came from nowhere. i don't think they came from me. really. maybe i'm channeling someone elses thoughts. hahahah haha

Hi-Do you sculpt?. I am an artist (painter). Have used this time to really get into it more than I usually do. I kind of schedule my day around this, fixing up my house and reading, reading and reading!! There is a Creative People group and a bookworms anonymous group.

Hi- groups I mentioned are just under "groups". I don't think they are necessarily one of the main support groups. i believe they are listed somewhere on my profile. Other DS members turned me on to them.
I paint fantasy pictures -lately angels or magical figures in front of stormy backgrounds. I usually paint on panel shaped and sized canvasses and high gloss them when I am finished.. They kind of look a little Renaissance-like. I originally was working in chalk and watercolor-I still use some of the tint techniques and washes even with my acrylics by using lots of water and occasionally my watercolor brushes then highlight with more brilliant colors. I could go on all day about this and it probably bores most people.
I may become involved in a Room 13 project in the Fall. as an artist-in-residence. This is a program for children. It was started in Scotland where children interact with teachers in more of a questioning manner and have more input into the way they learn. Its interesting and info can be found on the internet. Before all this I was a social worker-sometimes therapist and less occasionally artist.
I do hope you are feeling better. I had some continued side effects after stopping tx, but am better now. This is really an experience. It kind of changed my whole feeling about life. I tend to value my time much more so I guess this is a good thing. Well, I am going to bed soon and finish my book before going to sleep. Marilyn
