To further my goal of learning how to be single, my best bud and I are making a pact to not let the other one start dating again until we are happy being single. Neither of us has been out of a relationship for more than like three months since high school, so it's high time we forgo partners and just have some fucking fun for a change.
I already feel better about it. Yes, a relationship with a wonderful girl would be nice one day, but, OMG, am I ever tired of dealing with relationships. I am tired of putting more in than I get out. I don't need a relationship, and, in fact, I don't even want one right now.
The next girl (if there even is one because, frankly, I could care less) is going to have to earn my love, that's for damn sure.
