I couldnt get up for work today then I finally woke up and couldnt get out of bed for about 2hrs, then I decided research support here I am!
About Me
I am a 29yr old female suffering from Narcolepsy. I was diagnosed February 2007. Since then my life has been crazy. I have been homeless and jobless off and on. I am about to lose the job I started 2 weeks ago. I am currently staying with my moms boyfriend temporarily. I am very hopeless! I have always been on my own and had everything I wanted but life has gone downhill ever since I started getting the symptoms at my old job for which I eventually got fired from b/c of falling asleep! I need help! I just found out there were actual support groups for this! Everyone just thinks I am lazy! I need help finding a job that I can have a flexable schedule. I am often calling in b/c I cannot get out of bed or going home b/c I am tired. Please send me ideas on how to get help or a job that will be ok with my schedule. I'd love to hear from anyone about anything that has to do with Narcolepsy as no one I know has it! I am on provigil which I dont think is working but the docs say that is my only option??? Thanks for looking at my profile! I am truly on my last straw and in desperate need of help with this. Thanks, E

- I have been on this for over months and it only seems to work if I run out of it and start back on it and it only works for about 2 days
