im so sick and tired of my doctors tellin me that there is nothing that they can do to help my back pain. im sick of them telling me that they dont know what is causing it. the damn pain management doctor wont even do anything for me and that really pisses me off cuz that is his job, to help me figure out a way to manage my pain. well looks like im on my own now, i have to convince my family doctor to reffere me to a spinal neural surgeon. wish me luck... who knows how this will go! sorry guys im just venting! its been a bad day, too many doctors appointments with bad news...

I totally understand. Unfortunately, there are quite a few docs that don't like to admit they have absolutely no idea what to do and still won't willfully refer you to someone else who might. It's frustrating to have to ask your doctor to send you elsewhere. Keep coping the best you can and take care of yourself. Vent all you need to. That is what we are here for!

I'm not being condescending I know the emotions that come along with pain; my dad is held together with 8 inches of steel and several large screws from an operation when I was a kid, he needs help too but his bones are crumbling and not strong enough for another operation now the pressure means his hip and knees are also disintegrating.
I know it's frustrating and highly unfair and I'll try to always write something nice when you need to vent, don't give in, there is someone out there who may be able to hep you even in a tiny way and it's worth channelling the angry energy into researching things yourself and hopefully finding that special healer.
