    About Me

Hello, my name is John Aberle and my co-host is Joe Harnett. We are the hosts of a very unique talk radio program that we hope will soon be nationally syndicated. Our radio show is called "An Inside Look at Mental Health." We broadcast out of the Philadelphia market. If you would like to hear any of our shows, please just google the shows name and it will direct you to the podcasts. The show touches on all aspects of mental health ranging from depression to healthy sexual relationships and everything in between. I searched the country trying to find a show similar to ours and I have come across a few but what makes our show so different is that I, the host, lives and thrives with Bi-Polar Disorder. Any doctor, counselor or therapist can talk about mental health disorders and the issues surrounding them, but unless they live with it, they will never truly understand it. I understand my audience and they understand me. Because together we get it. Thus far, my co-host and I have been blessed with several very special people that we have had the opportunity to interview; Mike Wallace from 60 Minutes, the Unabomber's brother and one of the victims, and Pete Early, a NY Times best selling author who authored a book on his son's Bi-Polar Disorder and the state of the mental health system in Miami. Mr. Early's book is called "Crazy" which is a must read for anyone who in involved in anyway with the metal health community. In the February 26, 2007 issue of Newsweek magazine, I was featured in a story on men and depression. You can locate the article along with a picture of myself and my wife by googling John Aberle and depression or going to the WCOJ 1420 AM website. I am looking fir any kind of feed back. I can be reached at- usaf89sf@comcast.net Thank you. John
