So I took the plunge and Emailed my friend.  Of course I was thinking the VERY WORSE.  I just apologized for any misunderstanding between her and I and told her that it was  very awkward to see her and her husband and not even say "hello."  I told her that there was no reason we  couldn't be civil with one another and that we were grown adults and it doesn't matter who her friends are or who my friends were this was between her and I.  Well, she Emailed me back and it was not the response I thought I was going to get.

She totally agreed with me and even apologized herself.  She said she felt the same way and that there was nothing worth not speaking to each other and that it was very childish of her to things go as far as they did.

LESSON LEARNED:  Time does heal and there is nothing in this world worth not speaking to a friend over.  All you have to do is take the high road and make the first move.  Alot of stress and anxiety has been lifted off my shoulders.  So there there is someone out there that you don't get along with or had an altercation with, call them, write them, Email them.  Perhaps the response you get isn't as bad as you think.
