About Me

I am a mother of two girls. One is 16(she lives with my fathers sister) and the other is 11 going into Jr. High school(6th grade). Their names are, Ny'dia and Nicole I am married(71/2 years) . I am the first American born child of two immigrants from the West Indies. My Mom is from Trinidad and my father is Jamaican. I am disabled(according to my body, not my mind), I have Lupus, Fibromialgia, Asthma, Arthritis , antiphosphilpid-anti-body syndrome(my blood has problems with its clotting factor) and epilepsy. My Mother had Lupus(she died from it)I don't know who these THEY people are but THEY seem to have a lot to say about everything:) -They also say it is not hereditary. I do not work in an office. I have my own website(askmizgirlfriend.com) and when I have enough energy, I often work as a peer counselor/life coach(I like to call my self a Life Therapist. The work is rewarding and I often have the chance to meet some very interesting people.

Interests

This is funny because the first thought that came to my mind was(something you never say when you are on a job interview!) I work well with people. I definitely am a people person. I love to write. I also enjoy music such as Jazz, reggae and any type of old school hip-hop from the late 80's to early 90's. I like to cook, my husband calls me the mad scientist of the kitchen! Only because I like to experiment with many different spices, rather than using salt. What I love doing the most is being a mom. Why because I have been given this life that I can mold any way I want. It gives me the opportunity to teach her things my parents never bothered teaching me and most of all, my daughter(Nicole, 11y.o) is great company!
