I was abused by my mom's boyfriend for just over 4 years. my first recollection of what was happening was watching tv one day and he asked if it was ok if he had his hand on my breast. come to realize it was already there and i was trapped. i was 14 at the time. i was also on prozac at the time which caused me to be very mellow on top of my natural shyness. it was a few months later that i first had sex with him. i never wanted to do any of the stuff he had me do but i couldnt get out.

it was hard at first, but with the help of my friends and especially my boyfriend it is getting easier. the hardest thing was actually getting out of the house. i opted to leave letters for my parents instead of telling them in person. once i was out of the house it got easier.

helps me express myself when i cant find the words. mostly evanescence, it helps me release my sadness.

both talking to people on this site and my friends (my bf especially) has helped me deal with everything and help me understand how my experience has affected me.
