65 DAYS GF - Ya know huntin' season is just round da corner and I gotta get da hound in shape.  He's been a little sketical this year for some reason.  He just doesn't have that ol' get up and go like he used to.  I mean, I used to mention huntin' and he was all over me.  He would get on me like a brown tick on a pimple.  This year I mentioned huntin' and here's what I get

Funny dog

Man I got my work cut out for me.  I'll have him in shape by November though.  I just ain't gonna go for no timid huntin' hound.  He might need to post an entry on Daily Strength ' cause he definitely needs a spark.  I'm almost a shame to let da fellas see him, at this point.  Maybe I need to find him a nice poodle.  Hell, he'd probably just lay there.  Gotta do somethin' with him though.

Oh, almost forgot.  My grandmother went to a luncheon sponsored by the local high school.  She won da door prize and she just had to write them to tell them how much it pleased her.  She's just that way.  She is a very kind ol' lady.  She really makes ol' Lucky proud.  Here's da letter:

Dear  Faculty and Students:
God bless you for the beautiful radio I won at your recent senior citizens' luncheon. I am 84 years old and live at an Assisted Home for the Aged. It's
so nice to know that y'all are thinkin' of me. God bless you for your kindness to an old and lonley lady. My roommate is 95 and always had her own radio. Before I received this one, she   would never let me listen to hers, even when she was napping.  The  other day, her radio fell off the night stand and broke into a lot of little pieces. It was awful and she was in tears. She asked if she could listen to mine, and I said "go to hell".

Don't y'all wish you had a grandma like that?  She's a doll.  I try to see her, at least, once a year 'cause that's just how I am.  She taught me that.  In fact, if it wasn't for huntin' season and me havin' to get "Booger" in shape I'd probably go see her now.  But she is more than 20 miles away, and gas bein' the way it is, well a man has to learn to be frugal. Now that I don't G no more, I've learned to watch dem pennies.  Know what I mean?  Don't ya see?  Can't ya tell?  Talkin' too much?  Yeah I know.  Okay then.  I'll hushy!  Damn!  Women?  Can't live with 'em and can't live with 'em.  What can I say?  Here I go agan, uh?  Okay!  Okay!  Bye!

Love y'all, really I do.  Luck(that I got ol' Booger)

Booger is adorable! I'm going to print his picture just so I can feel all warm inside when I see him. He expresses my sentiments about hunting. Your grandma is remarkable woman. I'm glad she stands up for herself at 84. Lucky...you've done it to me again..Now I am going to think about your journal and laugh throughout the day. Congrats on day 65 that is remarkable
