It's not an easy road to travel, but having a place to go for support and encouragement like here is going to help you to keep moving forward. I'm about 10 months ahead of you in the healing process, so I understand what it's like. You'll come out of the dark tunnel to the sunshine again. Sometimes you feel a little better, but it is with you all the time. It has been 13 mths for me and somedays it still hits me like a tonne of bricks. One foot in front of the other that is all you can do and remember the good times they gave me comfort.

My husband of 13 years died on June 16 and I'm having difficulty coping alone. He was 57. We were 'young' and our dream was so close, but it died with him. He had been fighting ocular melanoma for 3 years. The caregiving wore me out and now I have no reserve energy to care about a darn thing right now.
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Starting tomorrow. Just had grief counseling through hospice. Huge help.
- Writing Working / Worked
- Writing always helps. Its just hard to get motivated.
