I hit the 50 pounds mark!
Hi everyone.
I wanted to let you all know that as of July 21st I have lost 51 pounds. I am amazed every day how the pounds are melting away and …
is feeling Excellent
I started this journey on May 24th in Montreal when I underwent a Gastric Bypass. I had complications from the beginning ranging from waking up with 7 laprascopic holes as well as having an extra piece of metal in my abdomen. I was in hospital for 6 days struggling with taking in enough fluids to maintain my body. The positive side to the surgery is I no longer take diabetic medication which to me is worth it. I decided to have a gastric bypass because many of my family members are obese as well and I saw my grandmother suffer from a wide range of medical ailments and knew that I wanted a different ending to my journey in life. I want to have grandchildren one day and be able to run and play with them. It is now 7 weeks since my surgery and have lost 46 pounds. I got on the scale this morning and was finally under the 300 mark weighing in at 298.8. My first goal has been met and I am now focusing on 250.
