Will see better again soon...

I live with my husband of 41 years, in the peaceful country near a large lake. Being an elementary teacher for about 12 years, I became victim to bi-polar. This was a real crisis in our family as our two children were young then. We had little outside help, so we four worked together to make our life work and function. During this time, I had to learn to walk again, talk in complete sentences and in years to come, I did gain strength to do small jobs in our home. One of the things I did was to read all I could about managing our home and my illness. Our daughter was age 8 and started lots of work in our home with the help of her dad and sometimes her brother. That began 25 years back and now I have kidney failure due some meds I took back then. I have been in the care of a kidney specialist all these years and am doing peritoneal dialysis quietly in my home for the past few months. My doctor and nurse are great. This has been a long HARD roller coaster road for all of us. Each of us face it differently, of course. I am thankful for God for sending various supportive people in my life at different times. It only took a few at a time to be all I needed. After doing dialysis, I feel better than I have in years - getting the toxins out of my body. My mental health staff have been very supportive all these years. Enough said.....
My interests are shallow at times, including piano, enjoying our grandkids at times, some crafts, getting back to sewing and mending, light housework, decorating shows, reading slightly, taking time to pray for others, etc.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gj... Are you far away from home This dark and lonely night Tell me what best would help To ease your mind Someone to give Direction for this unfamiliar road Or one who says, follow me and i Will lead you home. How beautiful How precious The savior of all To love so Completely The loneliest soul How gently How tenderly He says to one and all, Child you can follow me an I will lead you home Trust me and follow me And I will lead you home. Be near me, lord jesus I ask thee to stay Close by me forever And love me I pray Bless all the dear children In thy tender care And take us to heaven To live with thee there Take us to heaven To live with thee there
Thanks so much for the encouragement!!!
Thank you
Being bi-polar over 25 years, I was given a med back then that caused me liver and kidney damage. Finally mental health found that I was toxic and one doctor sent me instantly to my kidney specialist. We have watched this situation for over 19 years, with the last 3 years being very hard. We were partial caretakers of my husband's mother. When I was told over 3 years back that I needed dialysis, my husband and I went instantly to the dialysis dietitian. At this point, I began changing my diet.
