    About Me

    I have been living with some degree of spinal pain since 1993. Initially cervical, now lumbar which really curtails me. I am a divorced mom of 2 wonderful kids (19& 21). They don't need me much anymore but I have my pets to take care of which is a Blessing because otherwise I would lose my mind for sure. I am home in permanent disability, but would much prefer to be in the real world making a decent living. These are the cards I have been dealt and I try to make the most of each day, irregardless. God is good.

    Interests

    Cooking & Baking, Pets, Politics, Pinochle. Before my health issues I had a lot more, but what's the point of going there?

      Could you pray my daughter, Kenna, went to the Dr today, she has pneumonia and they wanted to put her in the hospital...Of coarse she wouldn't go, she is so stubborn, I don't know who she got that from...LOL..

    • Close Degenerative Disc Disease

      I had suffered with herniated cervical discs for years (c-5, c-6) until it became unbearable. I had a very successful anterior fusion with instrumentation. Began to have lumbar issues prior to fucion and had a lot of trouble walking. Cervical region improved, lumar is WORSE than ever, despite all the BS injections. Kind of depressing for a formerly active woman. Just want to hear others solutions.
