About Me
I'm 42, divorced, recovering alcholic, struggling with depression. I'm in a relationship and he has a 14 year old I raise. I have a 20 year old son who no longer lives with me. I need advice ofr my partner on how to help the recovery process, he tends to make it harder.
Interests
riding on the back of a harley, dancing, singing to the radio even though I sound horrible. Reading fantasy books, gardening, and decorating. Watching whatever sport my stepson is playing.

I started drinking really heavy about two months ago. I am struggling with recovery and depression. I went through a divorce and abusive relationship for 1 year after. My son grew up and moved out and I took on a new family. I am also in early menopause.
Treatments
- Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
- My friends are very helpful although when the depression is bad I have trouble reaching out. My finacee wants to help but lacks the skills to do so I want to get him to a support group.
- Psychotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- I just had my intake interview with MHMR and I will start counseling as soon as I am approved or denied for med. asst. I will start counseling through couty drug and alcohol on the 31st.
