I finally have an appointment scheduled for Sept. 8, after several days of communication with the director of this counseling place and having to have my husband fax her a copy of our insurance card.  I didn't know it would be such a complicated, huge deal to try to schedule me an appointment.  But oh well, it's scheduled now, and it's in the evening so my husband can take me and we can also have some fun over in that area (a bigger city than where we live).
