My birthday is 6 days away. I guess you can call it o.k.In 2003 on OCT 17th I was hit by a drunk driver as a pedestrian. I had an awesome birthday...as all my birthdays are awesome. Seven days later I got the utmost miserable birthday present that changed my life around. Bein in a coma for 56 days and the DR'S telling my mother and Father that I wouldn't make it through the night DID NOT give my mother and father much hope too sustain that I could and would make it outa of the live.Just as this was happening to me the husband of his wife in florida was taken trying to take his wife off the machine wich was keeping her alive.I needed thge same machine but the DR'S did not GIVE ANY HOPE to my parents that I would live.They insisted that if I made it out of the Coma I would be a VEGETABLE.I wouldn't be able to do any thing but maby blink my eyes to answer a question.They say that you CANNOT hear  anything that is being said to you at all. I STRONGLY DISAGREE with that statement as I heard every word that was being said to me or about me.Any way the day my Ftaher was having to go home to Texas where he resides due to the nature of his job working with explosives the government etc.I remember him grabbing my hand and saying to me SON IF YOU DO NOT SHOW ANY SIGNS THAT YOU MIGHT RECOVER THEY ARE GOING TO PULL YOU OFF THE LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM WICH WAS KEEPING ME ALIVE.I had slowly but suredly squeezed his hand for a split second. It was time for him to go back home,but he insisted to the DR'S that I squezed his hand.any on the 56th day I heard a voice saying I am going to wake you up..... I got scared and again heard a voice saying that he was going to wake me up.I did not see no shining tunnel or anything but blue sky looking up down left and right.and again I heard the same voice tell me rthat he was going to wake me up...... I got scared again and said NO. bvut then he said to my I am gonna wake you and when you get healed and gert done I want you to do something for me.I said what was that.He didn't say anything else he aid 1 more time I am gonna wake you now and AT THAT MOMENT I SNAPPED OUTA OF THE COMA AND WOKE UP.Even after 56 days of being in a coma one of the nurses came in and gave me phuneminia and had a temp of 103 degrees all 56 days.They had to keep me in a cooling blanket to keep me from being over heated.....And when my mom told me what happened she said we were sealcoating a drive way and was at the end when we heard a racing car coming loud and fast.When I looked up theres nothing I could do he was doing 70MPH and hit me.. I was at ghis hood so Ijumped up a little bit but then he hit me..my head went through the windshield and knocked out 1/2 of my brains outa my head...He then skidded 70 feet with me on the trunk of the car then I was totally thrown off the car. When the ambulance got there they stabilized me to goto the nearest hospital.The small hospital had NO way of taking my head and body injuries.So they call the aircare flight care helicopter to take me to the hospital wich could treat my TBI  ( Traumatic Brain Injury ) I died 3 times while in the coma and then that's when I heard the voice staing what was said earlier in this post.. But This is the 5th year reuniuine of the tragic accident... But today 5 years later I am as normal as a normal person can be  The DR'S TO THIS DAY CALL ME A WALKING MIRACLE BOY.I cheated death 3 times lived to tell about it and am now 100 % back to a normal person the DO NOT know how I did what I have done so fast in the begining.I had to learn to walk,talk,eat,drink,use the bathroom just like a new born baby.has too. I acrueed all these goals in less than 30 days that is why I am a miracle boy and I do Thank GOD for what he has done for me and will do for me when I am reasdy and only he knows that.ZBut any way it is the 5th year reuniun that this tragic accident happened but I am no tragic accident GOD put me here and woke me up  for a reason, and to HIM I do Thank GOD,Jesus,The Holy Spirit for saving my life,and with that I will ay amen.
