I live in Kent in the UK I have Epilepsy and ADD, an interesting combination, I love anything creative. I also have a B12 Deficiency and Osteo Arthritis. I have two almost grown children and I still love life.
Interests
I play piano, I like reading and studying. My favourite thing is writing, mostly poetry. I like puzzles of the challenging kind I love anything Sci Fi.

Close Epilepsy & Seizures
I had Grand Mal Seizures at 18, I had a head operation at about 19 and seizures stopped. I now have Simple Partial Seizures caused by the scarring left from the operation.
Treatments
- Keppra Working / Worked
- Worked where nothing else did
- Lamictal Somewhat Helpful
- I got flu like symptoms so couldn't tolerate too much
- Surgery, Brain Working / Worked
- Cured my Grand Mal Seizures completely
- Tegretol Not Working
- I put on 2 stone in a month and the doctors took me off it and told me not to take it again
Close Arthritis
I am 45 and I have had Osteo Arthritis in my hands for about 15 years, I now have it in my wrists, shoulders(maybe)and in my knees a bit. I cannot tolerate anti inflammatories because of a previous stomach ulcer.

- It worked but it upset my stomach
Open ADHD / ADD
I was diagnosed with ADD when my son was diagnosed at the age of 7, he is now 21 and doing very well. I still struggle sometimes, I do not take medication as I take so much for other things. I say that I am unique and I like people to know it and they do in the nicest possible way.
Open Hypermobile Syndrome
i was diagnosed with hyper mobility but all doctors said i would grow out of it and ignored it. i now struggle with exercise and ache everywhere from my toes to my jaw and injure myself easily. people don't understand because they can't see it. It gets harder every year and i also get migraines, low blood pressure and anxiety attacks with it which i learned are part of hyper mobility syndrome just a few months ago

- pilates is something suggested by my mums physiotherapist who said it consists of gentle exercises good for hyper mobility but i have yet to try it

I had a brain operation about 25 yrs ago. I have suffered from Migraines ever since, it did however cure the problem and stopped the form of Epilepsy I had at the time.
