today has been a good one!  I have decided that after I get my items from ebay I will give up ordering from there until january.  I am working with my funds to try and get everything together so I can work on the actual meal planning for the holidays. We are going to my moms for thanksgiving. because we don't have a ride to go to my nephews house. so I will have to get with mom on what I need to bring before the 10th of Novemeber.

 

On friday I go grocery shopping and I have planned for 30 dinner time meals and lunches. I am trying to drink more water.and less sugary drinks.  I wish I could afford to buy splenda instead of sugar but I would need two boxes to last the whole month. which will be approx $6.50  I may end up doing that and paying cash for it instead of food stamps.  ROy already uses sweetener for his coffee so why not for our tea and koolaid. 

 

I find that chewing gum helps me with the food craving and my mom keeps me in the gum. she just bought me two ten packs of chewing gum and two 15 stick packs as well.  One other thing about gum is nothing tastes good with it except water.   I also drink propel waters and refill the bottles with tap water to freeze ror put in the fridge.

 

DO any of you have any helpful things that you do to help with the food cravings.?  I am open to anything.  The hardest part for me is when our renter comes in after work and microwaves him a dinner it just smells so tempting to me.
