    About Me

I am currently a SAHM of two children. They are 12 months 13 days apart and it can be completely nuts around here sometimes. I have been taking Paxil since about 4 weeks after my daughter was born. My OBGYN said it was most likely the baby blues and gave me a month supply at that point. After that I decided to go off it to see if it was more than that. I soon began to experience the depression and constantly being overwhelmed feeling again and went to my family physician this time and was put back on paxil. Other than that I have also had so much happen in my life in the past 2.5 years. I started dating my now husband, I unexpectedly got pregnant with our son after only dating for 8 months. I had my son, got pregnant unexpectedly again, got married, lost my job and had our beautiful daughter.

    Give Krisers a hug

    • Hug

      From HeathD July 13

I thought you could use a hug. My mom had severe postpartum depression after she had me, it last 4 years. She went to group therapy for 4 years. Have you tried that? I had baby blues after having my son on 2/20/08. You are not alone. The blues went away after 6 or 7 weeks on their own. I was afraid to have kids for a long time, because I thought I would get post partum depression like my mom, my cousin and my close friend. There is alot of help out there. Glad you are getting treated.
