    • Good Luck

      From MommyBerrios July 11

You can do it! I've found that focusing my mind when I'm taking important exams really helps. When studying, just before the test, and any time you feel extra-anxious during the test: Close your eyes. Listen to the sounds around you. Try to see how many different sounds you can hear. If you want, even try counting them. Don't rush this, it's all about refocusing and relaxation. You'll find that, the more you listen, the more you'll hear. You'll start noticing sounds you never noticed before. And when you finally do open your eyes and return to your exam, you'll be much more relaxed and thinking clearer. This was recommended to me from another friend who also suffers from anxiety and depression. It's been amazingly successful for her, me, and my daughter. Good Luck!

    • Close Tourette Syndrome & Tic Disorders

I was diagnosed with tourette's when I was 13 years old. I am now 16 and am struggling for support. I have not met anyone else with this disorder and I have other issues like hypotonia and UPD 14 which is a genetic disorder. I seem to have great difficulty getting and keeping friends. I am not sure if it is due to the tourette's or not. I would like to talk to someone else who also suffers from any of these disorders.

      Treatments

      Risperdal Working / Worked
works somewhat. Helps a little but does not take away all tics.
