An never ending cycle
It is frustrating for me to watch my daughter go through all she has to. She has THOUGHT DISORDER as well. So she tends to trust people …

I am a 42 year old mother, my daughter who is 19, is Bipolar. I am always on the outside looking in. I am my daughter's advocate. I will continue to watch her grow, and will always be by her side. Bipolar, is not just a myth, it is real. And so is her story.
Educating my self on mental illness.

My daughter was diagnosed w/ bipolar at 12 years old. I always knew something was wrong w/ her, since she was born. When I found out that she had bipolar disorder, my whole life changed. There is not a day that goes by, that we deal w/ this. Some are good, others are bad. I will continue to be by her side, no matter what! God gave me this precious child!! Some people in our lives, and outside of our lives do not quite understand what bipolar is. They mock, and make fun of bipolar people. I feel like I have to defend bipolar, because, I have lived and watched my daughter struggle through life. The battle never ends, only it makes us stronger. She is a tough person, she knows her limitations, and also hates the way society has painted an ugly picture of bipolar. I want to let her know she is not alone!!!
