12 Step Program Working / Worked

working the steps is not for the faint of heart, but establishing a relatioship with God has been the best insurance ive ever gotten that things will get better ,facing the past toe to toe with open,clear eyes is only going to make me a more honestand for me gentler person sometimes i do well at step work other times i slack, for a long time i tried it my way[alot of unnecesary pain] but the true changes in me started to come when i let go and did what i was told and kept hp real close...

AA Meetings Working / Worked

i go to at least 3or 4 meetings a week ,i go to amorning meditationmeeting on sat on sunday i go to a womens meeting during the week i go to a big book study , discussion group and sometimes another study meetings because i help care for my father [in another town what meeyings i have available vary, i have tried staying sober without meetins and a group of sober women who support me and i was miserable without a drink i dont recommend it, stick with the winners...

Cold Turkey Working / Worked

when i first came to the progam i went cold turkey the only treatment i went to was aa,and counsling iwas pretty crazy ,i really stuck close to the group 90meetings and 90 days when they told me to clean house,i took that to heart a nd everything sparkled[wasnt the house they were talking about but lord knows the physical one was mighty dirty...

Sleep Working / Worked

im cajun and was raised with a nap, to this day if at all possible i take a nap if feels sooo wonderful and its usually much better sleep than night time, irest my mind, body and soul because i pray before i sleep figure cant go wrong with spirit whispering back in my day time sleep!!!
