About Me
I suffer from depression. I function ok. on Meds. I work, most days are good. I have my moments. My mom is clinically depressed too. I have close friends and family who suffer from BiPolar as well, so I came here also to find ways to comfort and words of wisdom for them. I know, moron, I can only sit and laugh along side them when they do and cry when they do. Oh, and I have short attention span... this ought to be fun.
Interests
Reading, movie watching, shopping, raising my 13 year old daughter, my husband, (ha)and playing with my dog. In school, almost done with my AA. Then off to work on my BA. I wanna be teacher, or do I????

Type: Seasonal Affective DisorderTried to slice my wrist at 17, moved on by separating myself from those thoughts. Today I'm 37 and under control with meds. Life has had major downs but a lot of ups!! Today is a good day.

- Celexa Working / Worked
- ok for awhile, but too much sexual side effects, when newly married, not good.
- Lexapro Too Soon to Tell
- Better with the sexual side effects. I feel anxious more and get upset more than I did on Celexa. I cry more easily than I did on Celexa but I'v eonly been on it since beginning of Mayish...
- Positive Thinking Somewhat Helpful
- some days yes, some days no.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- I have a several friends who also have the same thing and we just talk about it. We call them "Prozac Moments" or "Happy Days".
