About Me
I'm a Forecasting & Marketing Research Manager and am currently living with my 17 year old daughter. I believe that it's important not be be afraid to love, no matter what kind of pain you've experienced. Try to change the bad things, but never change your personality for someone else. Realize that everyone will have ups and downs. It's the downs that will make you stronger and better able to cope with the bad and appreciate the good times.

Thanks Bob! Here's a hug back atcha!
Hug
you sound like me, just want to be myself and have someone accept me as I am. I changed for my husband and did everything(almost) that he wanted. It stopped with porno. That's embarassing to say. He even only wanted me to wear white, black or red. I supported him for two years and in Dec. 07 I filed for divorce. In Florida right now where I spend the winters and Alaska in the summer. I see you haven't been on in a while and may have found someone but I'm a new member and was going through the members and I saw some similarities in character so I thought I'd send a hug and wish you well. Breakups are so hard. I didn't want it but I couldn't take him stealing from me, lying and all the emotional stress we were going through. Well, if you want to talk anytime just sent a message. I'm reaching out to members my age. I think my husband was too young for me (36) this year and I'm 51. Sending big hugs and good luck to you.

Close Breakups & Divorce
My older wife (54) of 26 years had $60,000 worth of cosmetic surgery and went out and had numerous affairs. One was with a 22 year old guy. She is not the same person I married. Our 16 year old daughter does not know what happened to her mother. She wrote a poem called "Mother, where have you gone". For the first time in years, I started coming home to an empty house (my daughter was often at a friend's house). It was a very lonely experience. I now have a new love.

- No matter how bad we feel, there is always someone else out there. Often that someone is better than the person you lost. If that person was lost due to divorce...there was a reason for it. Try to learn from your mistakes...it will make you a better person. Sometimes it truely is the other person. If that's the case you are truely better off.
