About Me
Born and grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. At 19, the Korean brouhaha got in the way and I enlisted in the Navy which took me out west. First stationed for two years at Naval Air Facility, Litchfield Park, Arizona. Once that was over, the Navy assigned me to the aircraft carrier Bon Homme Richard (CVA 31) for my last 2 years. I got out of the Navy a tad early and headed for Arizona State University. Graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. Worked at the Livermore National Laboratory, Kerr McGee Nuclear Corporation, and retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory at Los Alamos New Mexico. Married my college sweet-heart , have lovely daughter Ava, nice home and bunch of fun cars I work on for kicks.

I found out that since I worked at Kerr McGee (I was the plant engineer), but if a body worked there, the mill, in any capacity, you were a mill worker, and you could take certain tests to determine if harm was done to you while you did your work. I found out that I did have a 28 percent impairment and suffered with COPD. A short time later, I had a cold and started having shortness of breath and the mucus problem. I was shocked that I developed this illness since i had quite smoking 23 years ago. This shortness of breath problem sure made a listener out of me. That is one scary trip. The doctor gave me Albuterol ProAir, Spiriva Handihaler, and Foradil Aerolizer
