Married five years, pregnant 4 times, miscarried 4 times. 8 weeks May 2004 (6 months after we got married), at 14.5 weeks in Jan 2007, at 6 weeks in Oct 2007 and the most heart wrenching at 22 weeks June 2008. I am a Christian, I believe all life begins and end with the Lord. The comfort I rely on is the truth in the word of God. That He is Sovereign. So long as I am available to conceive a child, if it is His will my child we be born. I trust that He knows what is best for me, and if it is not for me to bear a child of my own I am willing to accept that, but I will exhaust every avenue before giving up hope. My doctor says that we can try again with two cerclages to support my weak cervix. If the doctors are confident then I am willing. It is truly the desire of my heart. I will continue to praise the Lord through my pain because I know that He desires to dwell in the praises of His people. I also believe that a spirit of thanksgiving and appreciation conquers a spirit of discontent and despair. I always try to find the good in every situation that I experience. If my purpose is to bring comfort to others then that is what I will do. Because I have experienced great pain and suffering I can relate and hopefully be an inspiration.

I'm sorry to hear you're still having pain. I guess painkillers that make you sleepy are better then none at all. UW seems to like to prescribe me oxycodone after I've had someting done, and it makes me very sleepy. I always like it hough, because I want to go to sleep when I'm in pain. Obviously not if I was at work though. I hope and pray that everything else is going well at home and at work. Have a fabulous day today!
I just suffered a 2nd late miscarriage. 4th overall miscarriage. Still do not have any children. Still want to have a live birth. loss on June 30.2008 at 22 weeks gestation (5.5 months). Had a cerclage put in at 13 weeks. Cervix still too weak to hold amnio fluid. Doc says we can try two cerclages next time.
