I am an 18 yrold student at the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Biological Sciences. I joined this site mainly because I have been struggling with trichotillomania for about 8 years. I am also struggling with my self image, self control, and self respect
Interests
I'm really into Hardcore music, local hardcore shows, piercings/tattoos, and of course quentin tarantino movies.

Close Trichotillomania (Hair Pulling)
Type: TrichotillomaniaI began pulling my hair excessively at age 10. Now at age 18 I can no longer wear my hair down due to several visable bald spots. In April 2008 I decided to recieve help. The treatment was working fairly well until about a month ago. Now I am back to pulling excessively
Treatments
- Clonazepam Working / Worked
- I was prescribed a low dosage of 1mg of Clonazepam in early April 2008. The medication worked fairly well the first couple months. I stilled pulled but not near as much as I had before I began taking the medication. The medication stopped working in mid June.
Close Diets & Weight Maintenance
I've been stuggling with weight management for as long as I can remember. I can't seem to stick to a diet or excercise routine.

- Eat Less Somewhat Helpful
- worked until I gave up after a week
- Hoodia Not Working
- waste of money
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- I was a competitive swimmer for 8 years. Once I quit I quit physical excercise all together. Now it's hard getting back into a workout routine
